The things worth knowing before you send the first one.
Do I need an account?
Not to send a free link — open the site, paste the secret and share what comes back. An account only matters for Pro, where the longer expiry windows and the API are tied to your subscription.
Can the same link be opened twice?
No. Opening it is what deletes it, so the first person to follow the link is the only one who ever sees the secret. Anyone who opens it afterwards gets an empty page — including you.
Can you read what I send?
No. The secret is encrypted in your browser before anything leaves your device, and the key that unlocks it lives in the part of the link after the #. Browsers never send that part to a server, so it stays out of our logs and our storage.
Can I cancel, and do I get anything back?
Cancel whenever you like, in the billing portal — nothing further is charged and Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. Within the first 14 days you can also ask for your money back, refunded in proportion to the time left: cancel on day 10 of a month and you get roughly two thirds back. After 14 days there is no refund, only the access you have already paid for.
What happens if nobody opens the link?
It expires on its own and is deleted. An hour on Free, or up to seven days on Pro — whichever window you chose when you created it. Nothing is left behind for you to clean up.
