Why we built Hider
Most secrets get shared the same way: pasted into a chat, an email, a ticket. That works for the minute you need it. What it does badly is end — the message is backed up, forwarded and searchable, and the password is still sitting in the thread months later, long after anyone remembers what it was for.
Hider replaces that message with a link. The secret is encrypted in your browser, the key rides in the part of the URL that browsers never send to a server, and the stored copy is deleted the moment the link is opened. One read, and there is nothing left to leak — not in an inbox, and not on our side.
That is the whole product. No archive of what you have sent, no history to scroll back through, because nothing is kept to show you.
